Rushden & Higham v Thrapston Town

Huge win for RnH tonight and a massive blow to Thrapstons title hopes. Rushden ran out 2-1 winners in a game that could have been 4-4. Overall i'd say that RnH just edged it and deserved this victory. Aidy keeps saying they have been very unlucky and on this performance it's baffling as to why they are struggling down at the bottom. Young side that stood up to Thrapston and really got stuck in and didn't let them have any time on the ball.
Joe will be disappointed that they lost cos they had 2 or 3 great chance at 1-1 but R&H also had 2 clear cut chances also.
Well done both sides for another superb Div 1 game.

Unfortunately for Thrapston, defeats like that will cost them the league title. Well done to rushden and higham.

Local derby's and anything can happen and it did on Tuesday. Fair play to R&H, they worked hard took their chances and got the rub. We didn't take ours and didn't get our bit of luck when a decision (or 3) was begging; but that's the way it goes.

A morale boosting victory today for Thrapston, much needed after Tuesday. They should be in good stead for their upcoming top of the table class versus Kempston. Should be a great game.

Might have been a moral booster but they are gonna have to up their game 20/30% against Kempston on Tues. At times Buckinghams youthful, bottom of the table side outplayed Thrapston and could have won the game. I've gotta say that this was a totally different Buckingham side that Thrapston destroyed earlier in season. They did deserve something from the game. Thrapston have become easy to score against which i think is going to have an adverse affect on any title challenge!!
