Whitworths came away with a valuble point against a good Eynesbury team. Matty Freeman scored the first goal of the game on the half hour. He punished slack defending on the edge of the box. The hosts came out in the second half with lots of intent but no real end product. They eventually scored with 20 to go with a low drive from outside the box (an excellent finish). Whitworths persisted and looked like nicking the points when Ben Holley was brought down in the box, the referee thought differently! Whitworths have now taken 7 out of their last 9 points against top 6 sides, their mini revival continuing. Well done to Eynesbury for their part in an entertaining fixture.
