Good luck to Desborough Town on Saturday who play against Deeping. Deeping are looking very strong at the moment, us at Wellingborough need them to start slipping up a few games, and would like to wish Desborough all the best in their game against Deeping. I haven,t forgot about Boston, or Spencer who are both sitting in good positions and who will be there come the end of the season. Its just that Deeping haven,t got beat yet, and they will need to if we don,t want therm running away with it. They look strong all over the pitch to be honest, but you never know.

You have to create your own luck and as I understand it WT had chances in their games against Deeping and came up short, could have been so different if they had held on in those games. As you rightly point out though Boston, Spencer, dont forget Cogenhoe, Wootton etc etc..........it will be a close call for 2nd place I think.

It'll all be dependent on which team turns up.... The second half side against Northampton Spencer last saturday will get thrashed yet the first half team and indeed the one which beat Wellingborough 4-0 will have no problem.
We at the Waterworks Field have to hope the right one attends.....

I see in the ET Gav that Steve wasn,t happy with the lads performance against S&L corby, so i guess he will be looking to galvanise the lads into a good performance tomorrow. Deeping are very strong, but on the day anything can happen. I remember the 4-0 thrashing Desborough gave us and they thoroughly deserve to win that game, lets hope for more of the same tomorrow.
Good luck

And the winner is - the 15mm of rain overnight that had nowhere to run to. Ground a tad soggy......
So Deeping remain unbeaten, though they couldn't beat Desborough today!
