A lot of talk on here about promotion chasers. Kempston and Bugbrooke are up there, and if they win games in hand will make the top 2. Interesting to see they drew 1-1 at the weekend? Did anyone see the game? Was it a fair result? Do they look like promotion bound teams?

I'd say it was about fair.
Bugbrooke out of the traps quicker. Hit the bar, then scored from a keeping error. Kempston missed a sitter, but seemed out of sorts. Bugbrooke also started well but second half changed immensely after a substitution or two on the hour. Kempston then created chances and dominated for the final 30. Bugbrooke pinned back for long periods. Keeper pulled off two absolute worldys, but Kemspton scored with some nice link play and a neat finish. The last 10 minutes they had chances to win, but the keeper again pulled out another top class save that you just don't see in Div 1.
Bugbrooke are the best team I've seen at Kempston this year, class keeper, two good full backs, one outstanding centre back and one good one, two little, nippy and decent players up top. It certainly felt like I was watching the league above and I would lay my money on this being the top 2. I guess I'll have to wait until I've seen Olney and Thrapston, but my mate who saw the former at Blue Cross wasn't struck. I'd still say it's 2 from 4 though.
