Just heard the news that Huntingdon Town manager Al lenihan has resigned. Such a shame as he was desperate to succeed at the club but things just haven't worked out. Bad spell of results towards end of year may have been stubbling block. I would like to wish Al the very best & i'm sure he'll return to management very soon. Top, top bloke . Be interested to see who wants the job next season. I'm sure many will be applying for what is a massive club in the UCL Division 1 with great facilities & big ambition. I think the club should go for ex Ramsey Town & Somersham Town manager Paul Taylor but maybe caretaker manager Ricky Marhineke could be ideal for next season. Any thoughts ??

Ricky should be given time to do the Job as we have a good crop of young players that Ricky has been instrumental brining through from our treble winning U18's from last season and other good young players in the area while reserve team manager and moving them up to the first team and with his and Mark Furness's knowledge of the local players I am sure we as a club will move forward.

I agree with bench warmer, for too many years the club have had outside players involved, outside managers and it isnt the same as having a mix of local players and outside talent. Ricky should be given at least two seasons to get Huntingdon back on an even keel and then look at pushing for promotion, too many changes in a short space of time at Huntingdon. I hope he does well with Mark assisting him.
