Superb win today for the doughboys against NP who were on a good run themselves and had moved up to 5th place in the league. (played a lot more games than anybody else). Wellingborough had the game won by half time with two goals from Darren Collins and Jonathon Mitchell, and a super strike from Tim Wooding completing the scoreline.
The only worry was whether the game was going to finish as the rain was causing the pitch to become boggy to say the least. A vital 3 points today to maintain our position at the top, still need others to slip up, Boston lost at home, Spencer only drew with Yaxley so we had better results today. A lot of teams have a lot of games in hand, but playing in conditions like today some might slip up so its going to be very interesting till the end of the season.
