Hi guys,
With the Div 1 title race hotting up who is your favourite for the title???
Who do you think is best fixed to go up to the Prem league???.
Can Thrapston, kempston, Olney or bugbrooke do it???
Is there a dark horse creeping up on the above teams???
kev fox done a great job at BPW. As is Aidy Mann at Rush and Higham.
I,m confident Matty Freeman and co will turn Whitworths around. Too big a club not to be challenging for the title.
What players have impressed you???

I find it astonishing, that throughout this forum, nobody has mentioned Kempston as potential title winners. (accept, charlie palmer). They are in complete control with games in hand. They Easily have the best players, set up, management, infrastructure, and the best style of play. 14 goals conceded. surely Kempston's league to throw away?!! Big game is Thrapston away on the 29th. But lots to be played before then? kempston could be clear??? any views on this?

I think people are counting their chickens a little too early. Its March and teams have alot of games left to play, there are lots of little twists and turns still to come and obviously its still a 4 horse race with maybe a dark horse still to challenge.
League leaders will always find it hard to keep up the consistency required at the top. The pressure is huge as Olney found out, Will Thrapston suffer the same fate, teams at the top will drop points...
Watch this Space! I think we are in for an exciting finish.

Won't comment on title race or Whitworths for obvious reasons But I am led to believe that all the main title chasing teams in Div One except Olney could, with some small remedial works go up. So it would be down to the UCL. Weather the proper infrastructure, finance etc is in place would be down to each individual club IMO. I will though say well done to my m8 Foxy at BPW for winning the Div 1 Manager Of The Month award for Feb. I think him and Scott have done a great job at a nice club (even with johnsalako there Players that have impressed me? Apart from my cameo at training the other night ;D and any Thrapston players (nat) there are a few at both Olney and Kemp but I really like Chapman at BPW and Worley at Bugbrooke both very sharp.

but I really like Chapman at BPW and Worley at Bugbrooke both very sharp. They are not the only ones who are sharp. I love this new way of declaring an interest in a player, it's much better than putting 7days in ;D Would like to echo Joe's comments about the lads at Burton other than to say that it is not just a 'nice' club, they are a great club and i put an emphasis on the 'club' I only check on here now and then as so busy but i still like to keep in touch with what is going on at lower levels of football

All good wins for the top 4 again yesterday, pick of the wins thrapston and kempston.
Big game at the end of march between them could be winner takes all.

It's Kempston for me. I would like to see them and Olney as top 2 as they are the best two sides in the league in my opinion.
From what I've seen of Thrapston (only 3 games) they have good individuals but are not a great team.
Haven't been to Kempston in a few years but was a decent set up a few years ago and improved since then from what I hear, Bugbrooke also decent side with Worley and Waldock a handful for any defence and what looks like a prem standard ground.

Olney are the 2nd best team in the league !!!! 1. You must be involved at Olney to think that 2. Look at a league table they are clearly the 4th best side

Quite some months ago I said Kempston had 2 much class not to win the league and Thrapston and Bugbrooke would follow them home, I still think this is on the money. However having taken 3 points from Thrapston last week ( with them having to endure the party in the changing rooms after) and with them getting out of jail yesterday when we looked to have made them run out of ideas, 1 thing is for sure there is a certain class that Thrapston carry in deafeat and victory alike and that is likely to see them over the finish line and on to the Prem next season...... Good Luck lads it was a great 2 games, I thought we had you again yesterday !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
