Thought i'd take this opportunity to spread some well deserved goods news from Raunds. Just wanted to say a big well done to Stuart and all his lads for what i think on a purely football front has been a superb season so far. When you bear in mind that the top 4 consist of Kings Lynn, Irchester, and Thrapston who all have what i consider to be vastly stronger sides for the Ucl Res Div2 due to the the fact all three seem to be using reserve sides to do what they were there for . That means having good enough players who aint far behind the 1st teamers on ability who are able to have the chance to improve as a player and then push for 1st team. Incentive for them and it keeps the 1st teamers on their toes. That is what football is about. So well done Stuart and the lads. The highlight so far was inflicting a 2-0 defeat on Kings Lynn. There only defeat so far this season in League. Hopefully the new 1st team manager whoever it may be will come in with same attitude and who knows!! Well done Raunds.

As reserve team manager at Irchester I would like to echo your comments and add that Stewart and his team have played the best football against us this season, both games were end to end with Raunds winning both games. I have a lot of time for Stewart and his assistants.

He's a top lad and him and Chezzer have done a stirling job at Raunds Res, well done boys.

Top people, if it wasn't for these guys I would have gone recently. They are totally in it for football and the club and fully understand the club's position. We see them as long term benefit for the club's future.  |

KP You are so right ! Without the back up staff,those that do the hospitality, laundry ,ground maintenance and ofcause the ressies and youth team coaches and all the "old faithful's"there is no long term future for any club.
