Thrapston drew 0-0 at london road a few weeks ago.

Thrapo won 2 - 0 confirming def 2nd place finish and Prem football @ Chancery Lane next year. Well done to Joe and all the team for a great season. Comon theResers on Weds !

Congratulations to all involved at Thrappo. Spoke to one of the lads the other day and he said they were aiming for promotion! Lordy still rolling back the years I hear as well! haha!
Joe has got himself a tidy squad together there and the majority all have Prem experience which will stand them in good stead for next season!

Hate to say this guys but according to an ucl oracle, the ucl committee are meeting next monday to decide who will get promoted!
I have a parcel containing a very angry wasp's nest awaiting to be sent to the person who said you were definitely promoted if it helps?
Lets hope common sense provails here

Thanks for those kind words and comments. I must make the point of thanking my 1st Team management of Simon Stewart, Paul Smith, Graham Clelland and Nathan Gaunt for their help and humour this season. Priceless. Also thanks to Dom and Spenny who have the thankless task of running the Res and have done a wonderful job of not only supporting the 1st Team but also getting to a final and still have a chance of promotion to Res Div1. All the committee and supporter(s) lol. Mainly Mark, Dave, Cathy, Bruce and Luke who have kept us going. Thanks.  not aware of that or of any dispute with the cricket club. In fact we have repaired a lot of the previous bad feelings between the two clubs from last year, and I can confirm it has been nothing but harmonious this season. The club asked and as far as we have been told Thrapston Town FC has been passed to move up into the Prem. Thats as much as I know.  |
