Well done to Kempston on their title win. Congratulations and fully deserved.
In my opinion this seasons Div1 was the best for several years, and thats underpinned by the amount of points the teams further down have achieved.
We at Thrapston are delighted with having finished in the promotion position and will now see what that brings us. A lot of work to be done on and off the field for all of us.

So do Thrapston have the grading required for promotion, or is it not confirmed yet?

Both sides are going to the Prem, all 3 grounds passed. Good luck to Thrapston. As I've seen around 20 Kempston games plus, I'd say they fully deserve to be champions and will surprise a few next season. Really enjoyed watching UCL this year.

Would just like to say a couple of thank you's:
1st of all well done to all the players, to Dave Randell and James Petty and to all the club's supporters and committee members, it's been a great season!
Well done to Thrapston and Bugbrooke, who have pushed us all the way, I thought Bugbrooke were the best side we played all season, there performance at Hillgrounds had us for one of the few times this season, on the back foot.
And finally well done to all at Kempston who believed in the plan, 8 years ago, to develop the facilities, develop our links with the community and become an FA Charter Standard Community Club. The club has never been on such a stable footing and we look forward to next season in the Premier. We leave some old friends behind, especially our near neighbours Wootton who have helped us out with some great victories this year, well done Arnie and the boys. Bring on the celebrations and the summer break!

Well done to Kempston and always seemed a well run club. I remember they used to always have strong youth teams which is a great sign for clubs at this level. However they have been somewhat of a yoyo club over the last few years and i don't think i can ever remember them not struggling in the Prem apart from the odd season. Will this change next year?
