Anybody interested in the job can get in touch with our secretary Mick walden on the numbers on the above thread.
Just to let everyone know before people may start speculating on why Matty has left, he has left on good terms with the club and all will be revealed shortly as to why he has resigned from the club.
Many thanks

Rothwell Corinthians are delighted to announce the appointment of Matt Clarke as joint first team manager. Jason Thurland has been looking for a progressive manager to work along side him on First team duties and hopes that their combined efforts will make Corinthians a strong team in Division 1. Matt has left Wellingborough on good terms having thoroughly enjoyed his time in charge of their reserves.

I hear correct then burger man, a good lad with a lot of time for everyone, if he can learn off rob and the rest of the coaching staff at WTFC i'm sure he will do very well. I hear most of the players in the reserves that played last season were from his contact book too? anyways looking forward to seeing how they do this season

It would seem your hearing is very good at the moment specialist lol. For me its very important we get the right lads down at Wellingborough, good local lads is very important for me, and we must have enough quality local lads to choose from.
With the 1st team doing so well last year it,s very important we also strengthen the reserves now to hopefully get the talent who we have in the reserves to maybe push for a place in the first team.
Jamie knows what is expected by the club and what he needs to do. I,m confident Jamie will attract the "right" player for the club, as he has a lot of local contacts he can choose from.
Going to be very interesting season for the reserves this year. Lets hope Jamie and the boys can be successful.
All the best boys.

seems the right decision was made burger man! the reserves are doing very well this season (so far) and a couple of the players have progressed to the 1st team. I have been watching your reserves a few weeks now and can honestly say they are a much better side than last year. Jamie also has a lot of time to speak to the supporters after the games which is what we like, lets just hope he sticks around this time!

Yes our reserves have been doing very well so far in the "league" this season.
Been able to watch some of their games and at times play some very good football.
Be interesting to see how we go against the likes of Kings Lynn Res and Cogenhoe, teams who are also doing very well.
Plus we have local derby's with Whitworths which is always great games to watch so it is going to be a very interesting season for our reserves.
Well done to them all for what they have done so far.
Long may it continue.
Good luck 2mora to them in our away game at S&L res.
