Raunds 0-1 Wellingborough Town

A Tom Liversedge goal was the difference between the two sides this saturday. I wasn,t at this game but i heard that Raunds done very well in the game and fought very hard.

Wellingborough were not at their best but done what they had to to get the victory.

The more important point for me is that its another 90 minutes of playing time under our belts which should be improving the fitness of the players.

Well done to Raunds for playing their part in a tough game for wellingborough and would like to wish Raunds all the best for their campaign this coming season.

Well done to our boys for their win and also keeping a clean sheet as well.

Tuesday night we got to Whitworths for another pre-season friendly which i,m very much looking forward to watching.

we gave it a good go on Saturday, we were really pleased with our performance and the effort the lads put it. I think you guys will be right up there again this season, all the best and good luck.

We had to move the game forward a week because our facilities had been hired out.

No Pinkun this game was brought forward to last saturday a few weeks ago mate.
