Apparently, it costs £8k, £10k or £15k to run a reserve side!!!!
They really do crack me up. I hope they're in this league for a good while as i've never seen anything like it in my 15 years off following non-league football.
Whoever's in charge of the club never fails to deliver a stunning soap opera.

Some of us are old enough to remember the last time they had a reserve side in the UCL.
Pulled out half way through the season... after many clubs had travelled all that way to play!
I hope its different this time..

so do we at Kings Lynn. Bloody disgusting what's been going on, but with the work of a committed band of volunteers and the supporters club we have a very well functioning reserves that will complete the season. They appear to be very well supported and growing.

But if your Fans Forum has it's facts right, totally separate to the First Team and with it's own Bank Account! Great way to run a CLUB!!!!!!!!!

We don't, unfortunately, have a CLUB at King's Lynn much to the disgust of the committed supporters. Fortunately,as Fenman has said, a group of volunteers made it possible for our young Reserve??? side to continue its development.
I have been to both the home games so far and it is a well organised and well supported set up ( gates of 109 and 112).
We know as well as you do that it doesn't cost £15K to run a Reserve side at this level and the true costs will become apparent as the season progresses.
The Reserve team committee looks forward to welcoming everyone to the Walks and having a chat over a coffee or beer in the cafeteria in the stand.
I hope this puts a little more flesh on the bones of the postings on our forum.
Yours in football, The old boy
