Sorry fozwaldo i do not know from where you get that the limit for expenses is £40, there is no limit on expenses, for example if the manager used his car and travelled 200miles in a week watching players etc he would be entitled to £90,in reality the figure paid in expenses would be nearer £20. Hullo to all my friends at desborough and I hope to see soon.

CL - don't take what I put the wrong way. You're quite right with what you say you need time and 3 league games is not much and the ressies were in an extreme position last year. However both teams bottom is as bad as it gets, that is also fact and the club is in a very bad position, that's also fact. What we need now is to all work together and find a positive way forward.

Hi reg. I didn't put it very clearly, did I? 'Someone-in-the-know' told me that players can receive up to £40 'expenses without attracting the taxman's interest. :-)

Lots of clubs will need to review their expenses then....DTFC have had their visit and all was fine - impeccable record keeping is key to prove genuine expenses are paid.

Murdo is a gentleman, but maybe the time has arrived for him to step down. I have been a desborough supporter all of my life, sometimes from afar, but the position the club is now in I think we need a fresh approach,I also believe the players have let Murdo down. Desborough have a small budget but Murdo has put together a good squad, the results do not reflect this,do they care? I know Murdo does! Murdo has done a fantastic job for Desborough over a couple of seasons, but now is the time for the club to make a change and keep Murdo at the club in another role. Sorry Murdo my opinion only!

Tonight we lost 4-1 despite being a goal up.
The 115 people who turned up at St Ives tonight irrespective of their allegiances will tell you there was one team in it and sadly for us that was the Saints.
To say we were outplayed was a big understatement. Every time they went forward they looked as if they were going to score.
Due to some excellent goalkeeping and St Ives misfortune to hit the woodwork three times the scores could and in theory should have been a lot bigger than the final score.
Perhaps on reflection when i started this thread it was a little premature to shout for the managers head but i do now feel that Mr McLeod should resign.

For the love of god when will we see change at our football club.
Martin McLeod has tried his best and should move on, whether he should be kept in any other capacity at the club is a different debate all together.
He needs to go now, He's had his chance to turn things around and he's failed end of.

Time must be starting to ebb away. By all means have a clear out and have a young team but it may result in what is looking like inevitable relegation. Bottom line is that either the players have to be good enough or a relatively weak team has to play to a very tight game plan with a solid system. At the minute you have to fear DTFC have neither.
