yeah your right ,the burgers were delicious, the cows were slaughtered the day before, thats why the pitch was clear for the game. They are buying some more cows to slaughter ready for fat boy Setchells visit next season.

Well done to Kevinb and his staff at Blackstones for their great food.
There are lots of clubs who produce great food and their hospitality is first class.
I,m more than happy with what I do at Wellingborough, pleased with the positive feedback our club gets with regards the food.
It is very hard work at times, as all the other people who cook the food at other clubs throughout the league will tell you. Your attention to detail has to be from the first burger/bacon roll you cook, all the way through to the last one, everyone has to be of the same high standard, as once you start to let your standards drop you will soon be found out. Thats why it,s hard work at times.
I do admit I love doing what I do, love meeting new fans from other clubs, making new friends.
The most important thing from my point of view is, if a customer goes away and enjoys their food then thats rewarding for me, and if they compliment your food then thats the icing on the cake.
I,m learning all the time, when I go to other clubs I always try their food and take note of their menu,s to see if I can come up with new ideas.
To any other clubs who don,t do hot food, ie burgers/hotdogs, why don,t you give it a go? If you can find someone who wants to do it on a regurlar basis, you can make good money for your club, but please remember it is hard work, and that person/s have to be committed to work very hard, but if they are committed it can be and it is for me very rewarding.
