Don't know if that is correct but if it is it's no surprise to me. How many years has this fantastic former player and manager struggled to bring the good times back to the Abbey Lawns. Top bloke who is welcome at all UCL grounds and is no doubt really down about this decision. Chins up Billy, I for one would more than welcome you at our Club, in any way, shape or form. Hopefully the Wakes will get somebody in to steady the ship but one thing I can assure you, they won't care as much as Billy has over the years. Who knows, a fresh face may be needed but Billy is a legend over there and will be very sorely missed.

After our monthly meeting tonight Bourne Town FC can catergorically state than Darren has NOT resigned as Manager. Although results have not been going our way recently Darren has and always will have the FULL backing of the committee.

Someone might want to tell the ET as they quoted him as saying he was staying at the club but thought someone else could do a better job as the players he'd brought in weren't good enough.
