Good luck to Andy Peaks and Scott Carlin in whatever they do in the future.
So does this mean that none of the teams currently in the bottom two will be relegated at the end of the season?

Seems like the FA's dagger in the back is sharp, clubs did not want this review and it has jarred the volunteers running clubs to give up trying to fight .
It just shows the damage they are causing, they can't say they havent been told, we just to need to know are they are prepared to listen, they really are not convincing.
Good luck to the club and Andy and Biffer alike.

Obviously we stand ready to fill one of the voids, and we're also available for weddings and barmitzvahs (lots of tongue in cheek there guys ;D) Andy Peaks is a great bloke and R & D through & through, I hope he applies for the vacant 1st team assistant manager's role at our club.

Keep pushing FA, just keep pushing!
Its clear just how little they really understand the frailties of just how clubs run at step 5 and without out a second thought will go full throttle on into step 6 with an equally blind move.
Why didn’t they take out any research? Look at the balance sheets of clubs? Realise just how much the implementation of ground grading standards had knocked out of clubs already? Before finally the kick in the teeth of travelling distances which will have such a further dramatic effect on the wafer thin resources of clubs?
Did they not for one minute think that the very few that actually make a club tick with commitment, dedication and sheer pride in what they do would actually say ok we have no limits anything it takes at any price?
For a club like Spencer with such a proud tradition, this decision must have hurt them greatly but no doubt actually this was probably the only way that the club could have survived. I do not think for a minute they are the only club who will have to face this tough choice. Shame on you FA !

It won’t be ‘if’ the FA make these changes its ‘when’. It will get deferred and will rear its ugly head in two season’s time. After all, Appleby is after making a name for himself and get OBE.
Dr Beechen springs to mind here.
The bottom line is for those club who already know they won’t be able to finance the result of the change, and would demote themselves, then what is the point all paying out money for next season to maintain premiership. It is pointless wasting money and makes good business sense to plan ahead cut the loses. Clubs need think more about financial viability than performances on the field in these difficult times, in my opinion or other wise there will be many more clubs disappearing or demoting!
Cut the old days of glory bullsh*t and think ahead for once!

Financial viability should be paramount. Teams should give expenses proportionate to match day income not rely on 'benefactors'. Players generally show no loyalty to clubs and happily chase a few quid extra (see S&L team pre/post Mr Young). It is almost incomprehensible that on gates of around 50 paying spectators clubs can pay any 'expenses' at all when other fixed match day costs are taken into account, bearing in mind away match income is nil. Credit to KL who have relatively huge gates and would therefore be best equipped to play in a higher, ie more expensive league.

It is a shame that this modern day climate won't allow for the smaller teams to survive,i for one have enjoyed my visits to the smaller grounds and it will be a great shame if some of them disappear.
