You know it doesn't take much to offer a cup of tea to visiting club official does it, hey Eynesbury? Oh and what about food for the players afterwards? hmmm?
After all we did put on food on Boxing day for you!
We always make every effort to put something on for half time upstairs in the committee room, yes committee room upstairs there is a sign to say! Thankfully most clubs do, accept for a few exceptions.
We are wondering whether to bother ourselves to those few next time or may we should name or shame?

I have to say that is one of my biggest annoyances with Division One Clubs. At Potton we are proud of our hospitality offered (hence why we were top of the club marks last time they were issued) but it is very annoying when we ask where the committee go and we get told to go to the tea bar and tell them we are committee. I do have to defend Eynesbury though as they usually have a very nice home made cake or two in the committee room and do a running buffet of sausage rolls, pizzas and chips for the players.

I have to agree Kilnpark it does'nt take much to offer even though at some grounds you have to ask for cup of tea for committee members !! We enjoyed our visit to your committee room and the general chit chat we had plus refreshments of course. Keep up the good work

I assume we got nothing at Eynesbury because of the spat over kick off times. Obviously being a half hour later than planned was too much for them? The players didn't seem in any rush to get home either? I suppose I should have asked for it, but I opted to pay for it twice at the hole in the wall. Anyway Pottonfan your home hospitality was to die for especially that home baked Victoria sponge cake with a lovely cup of tea, oh my waistline!!

On behalf of everyone at Eynesbury Rovers F.C can I offer our sincere apologies for not providing refreshments and post match food for the players and officials of Raunds Town on Easter Monday. I can honestly say, we were extremely embarressed when we realised that communications between club officials had somehow been mixed up, and quickly realised no players food had been provided. The usual people who every game provide an excellent hot selection of pizzas, chips, sausages, and also sandwiches etc. were unavailable , and mixed messages meant no one took over their duties. We understand that this is not acceptable, and I can assure you all that was a 'one - off oversight'. Once again, apologies Raunds Town.

i must admit, in fairness to Eynesbury the couple of times i have been there it has been decent, some hot food and sandwiches, and something to cater for everyone, been to a few that were poor, and resulted in people having to buy food on the way home, but not fair to name and shame as we may have just got them on a bad day

Potton's club house hospitality is superb! People friendly, clubhouse decent and food good. An example to all :-)
