Was just wondering who the clubs have felt have been the best referee's throughout the course of this season?

Carl Henry and Wayne Chalmers are still by far the best in the UCL. It's probably political but why the hell doesn't Carl officiate in the Premier. As an aside we had a Referee at our Reserve Div One game last Saturday who reported us to the League because our Keeper's Jersey had number 99 on the back and the Rules say 1-17! Bad weekend for all levels of Officials methinks, won't name him as I don't wish to DOB him in!

I personally think Mr Wilson who we have had down at the Walks had a very good game - seems to be a real mixture of ages of the referee's as well in the league! Mr Thorold who we have had must be the youngest from what I have seen...?

Ellis Clark for me! He actually seems to know how to play football which I think gives him better judgement! A really bright referee  |

Certainly a mixture of very good and very bad!! In the Prem have to agree that Wayne Chalmers and Ellis Clark are the best although have not seen some of the newer refs to the league. In Div 1 Carl Henry and Paul Dobbs are among the best! Shame Roger Coxhead has just retired due to ill health because he was very good.

Carl Henry was suberb when he came up a while ago.
Roger is a real decent bloke and referee.
