Stamford could lay a claim for sure... St Neots probably not... Kings Lynn certainly would in recent history... but what if AFC R&D do well and stay in our competition for 5 years say?
Would they need to get to a Vase final to stake a claim?

Everybody knows who the biggest club in the UCL is and that team, my friend, is known as Desborough Town ;D

Don't forget Peterborough united, Kettering town, Cambridge united Corby town and Northampton town. They all came via the UCL.

Not only were they in the UCL they couldn't win it and went sideways then upwards. Similar to Brackley and Arlesey. That says a great deal for the standard of competition here. ARE YOU LISTENING FA !!!!!

The biggest clubs in the UCL are the longest serving members of the league, Desborough Town, Kempston Rovers and Wootton Blue Cross

Stevenage Borough started back in UCL in 1970's I saw them at the Diamonds, but I don't thik they were called "Borough" then.

Cambridge United played in the Eastern Counties league up to 1958 but not the UCL.

Cambridge United then known as Abbey United played UCL football from 1947 to1951

You are indeed correct and I overlooked that period just after WW2 when they were still known as Abbey United. My memories of United started in the mid 50's when Wilf Mannion was gracing their team.
