Erm, it's an open forum, not in the Desborough Town room for starters....so just for the record, this is UCL Chatter and not Desborough Town chatter. Two sides to every story porthos- and I'm not going to get personal unlike yourself....as has been the way for a couple of years now, ignorance is bliss. So, why exactly should Admin ban me? Because I have a different opinion to you- as apparently I'm ignorant and know **** all why would you want me banned? Finally just for the record, Steve has done a great job in turning the team around in the last few months and we speak most weeks, pre and post game with an interest in what goes around the league etc and congratulations to him.

Well done Desborough, it's been an amazing turnaround since Christmas. As for Kings Lynn, I am surprised they have got the jitters, I honestly thought they would cruise to promotion. Is the momentum with Long Buckby now? (Oh and play nice between you please )

Kev, you cannot get more personal than some of the remarks you have blissfully made. I suggest keeping quiet or being banned, because if you repeat some of your more ludicrous accusations, then legal action could be taken and I wouldn't want that to impinge on an open UCL forum.

To put the record straight I was not involved with Desborough Town Football Club when Kevin O'Brien was Chairman and I will only judge people on how they have acted towards the football club, myself or any official during my time with DTFC.
During my time with Desborough Kev has been very approachable in his role as Secretary at S&L in the build up up to our matches at both 1st Team and Reserve Team level.
I will always be grateful for any other Club official in our League who has taken the time to congratulate the club on an excellent result and has praised our Manager, regardless of what events have happened in the past.
Everybody is quite rightfully entitled to an opinion but to suggest an individual should be banned from a message board never mind taking out legal action is just downright stupid.

Portos and Desboroughvp... I have neither the time nor the desire to trawl through posts to see who has or hasn't said what. To suggest legal action is, of course anyone's right, but I think the rules on the forum are clear. Posts are individuals own views and not those of UCL Chatter.
If you feel you want to say something more on the matter. Please PM Gav or myself.
If not then I suggest we draw a line under this matter, metaphorically shake hands and move on.
Its been a great few weeks for Desborough Town Football Club and I would rather us be positive about that and say congratulations regardless of who is in power at Ar Tarn.
I hope you agree.

Porthos- I refuse to get involved in public oneupmanship with you and if you really want to take legal action for whatever reason, go ahead....for those that don't know, I live in Desborough and therefore plagiarise The Smiths title 'Barbarism Begins at Home'. I'm not really sure if wishing I was killed by a runaway milk float is a reason to have me banned from here. I know how disappointed several at the Waterworks must have been when my heart attack wasn't fatal. Anyway, I've moved on, clearly you haven't. Bless. Thank you to desboroughvp for your kind comments and I praise your bravery in commenting against a member of Ar Tarn's inner sanctum however I'll just put up with the ugly faces that peer at me from behind twitching net curtains etc. Or when I have been to the Waterworks and produce 50 p for a programme to be basically met with a fart and a grunt and 'what do you want?'- John Lee apart of course who will always remain as the standard bearer of the club. I've got more important things to worry about.

Gentlemen - I know you both well, am Desborough through and through, will drink with you both. I'm not a judge in what may or may not have happened in the past, but its gone, as indeed for the greater good of this forum both will be if it continues.
You have my number if you wish to disagree. Will be there saturday....

I just feel it does not look good professionally that somebody connected to our football club is telling another official that they know "F all" in a public arena especially when they had just complimented the club on their recent result and their Management team.

NN6 7QA (1 - 0) and NG34 7HG, but I don't think you scored in that 3 - 3 casper :-)

Desboroughvp you quote in a earlier post that you were not involved with Dtfc some time ago,can you tell me how you are involved now? I know for a fact you hold no official post at the club and if this is the case what were you doing in the directors box last Saturday.

Do you have to be a committee member to be part of the official delegation of a club on a matchday then?
Serious question as I know of clubs all around who would have other people form part of their visiting party representing their football club.
