I've just been out for a pleasant meal in Stamford, very nice it was too. Anyway, I'm sure sat in the far corner was all the players of Blackstones, Boston Town and Long Buckby!?
With all of the reported accusations of 'foul play', I'm not entirely sure this was very wise of those players... I will say those Long Buckby lads seem a nice bunch though, as I definitely heard one saying that they were picking up the bill.
And who walks in as we prepare to leave? All the desborough lads! They obviously all get on really well.

Lynn didn't deserve to win today and they didn't. Artarn's football spoke today irrespective of anything.

Artarn's football spoke today irrespective of anything. Lets be honest,i think even i could have played better than most players on the pitch today, and thats both teams. You should have tried harder, may have been better if we went a goal down.

Fair point grizzles. Good result for artarn though irrespective. Compared with where we were a few months ago.

Excellent result for yourselves,as has been said totally unexpected after the last meeting,as i said it may have been better if we went one down, may have shown a bit of a fight and improved the game.To be quite honest i don't think we tested you today, but if we had i think it would have made a great game as you would have upped your tempo as well.

I always find it weird that players from different UCL clubs seem to enjoy spending time together.
There was a night out in Yaxley 3 Horseshoes with players from all manner of clubs enjoying a Christmas drink.
Interestingly most of them have moved clubs since then and I wonder if this is part of the reason they can socialise without any trouble.

Nothing wierd about it at all really. The UCL has always been a friendly league. Players know players from past and present, nothing weird in that. Buckby have come in to Raunds on their way back from games in Lincs on more than one occasion. In the papers everyday you read about Premiership players from different clubs out with each other all the time. What a load of tosh.
