The funeral service of long-serving Rushden & Higham United secretary Chris Ruff was extremely well-attended.
A host of people from the football fraternity, including representatives of the Football Association, Northants FA, United Counties League, Northants Senior Youth League and many former team-mates and club mates joined family and friends at the Albert Munn Chapel in Kettering to bid farewell to a hard-working and decent man.
