Oadby Town V AFC Diamonds on 5th Jan 3.00ko This is a massive game that will see who has what it takes to push for promotion. What sort of crowd can we expect ? Will Diamonds fans travel? What do we think the score will be?
I think its a wide open league with 5/6 teams in with a chance of winning it.

Would have thought the crowd with the good support R & D have will be 500+.Score wise with Oadby at home would expect home win 3:1. R & D only have the league to go for now a loss on would be a major blow.Oadby are my tip for promotion. Have a feeling that with Silby & Bugbrooke in good form a lost may be the end of R & D promotion hopes for this season and I dare say would cause a major rethink for next season having said that a win blows it wide open.Must be the strongest Div 1 league for many a year.Would be very interesting to hear comments from R & D supporters.

I would have thought we will bring something in the region of 300+ supporters, i suppose a lot depends on the next 3 results.

I think Oadby will win 2-1, it is a tight league at the moment but I think Eynesbury will be eventual champs.

This is our first season, having put together our team from scratch so anywhere near promotion has to be seen as a successful season. I see no major changes if we don't get promoted, just a chance to build even stronger for the following season. I think fans of other clubs have higher expectations than our own on the whole. We're looking forward to our visit and I expect us to take around 3 - 400 fans, & by then we should be back to a full strength squad, including new signing Brad Harris from Ar Tarn www.afcdiamonds.com/new-signing-announced

Well, this game is now set up to be a cracker with 2nd place up for grabs should we be able to pull off an upset & win in Oadby. We had 584 attendance for yesterday's game, so with that in mind I shouldn't be surprised if we take 400+ to this match. Is there much parking at the ground?

Fair play to Oadby (well John Stevenson) who took their chances in the second half, when the 7 or 8 we created in the first we didn't convert. Official attendance 512, but it looked a couple of hundred more to me. Stevenson's the best player I've seen this season so far.
