Who do you think are the contenters this season?
Being from Peterborough I read a lot about Peterborough Northern Star and a little about Huntingdon, but from reading the Sleaford site, they would seem quite confident...

I should think Wellingborough are fairly confident of being up there. A quick return to the Prem would do them no harm.

I think both Wellingborough teams will be up there this year. Wellingborough Town 2004 will win it as they seemed to have the backing to come straight up! Id like to see blisworth come up (the mother and father in law live there, oohhh maybe not!!!). Or Olney, a good local derby for Newport Pagnell (Thats if they have the right goal hook??!!??).

From what I've seen so far, Wellingborough Town (C'mon, you Doughboys!), Whitworths and Sleaford Town will be there or thereabouts at the end of the season.
Even though we beat them recently, Sleaford were a strong, well-organised team - the best we've played this season.

dont write out blisworth, have had a mixed result and hopefully the tides will turn and we will be up there
so many weid results this year.............whitworthjs in my eyes were by far favorites but they have lost there last three games (one in the cup)
and we all know that losoing is a hard habit to shake!!!
I'd be surprised if chenecks could hold the fort for much longer.
well see but take my word the railwaymen will be hovering around the trophies come may!!

The Doughboys deserve a good gee, i played for Sleaford in the game against them and i reckon they'll take some stopping.

Hi Scooter! As I said earlier, you're the strongest team we've played so far this season, even though we dropped points against Olney and Bugbrooke. I think we stand a chance, but we have to see what happens when injuries, suspensions and heavy pitches kick in - we're a footballing team, so I hope we don't get stuck in the mud! Cheers

A lot of team are taking points off each other and we ( Sleaford ) struggled away from home last year. We've not played Chenecks yet - they've turned things round from last year. It'll be tough at the top.

Watch out for Huntingdon Town .. a slow start but results are improving .. and some of their best players still to come back from injury !!

I was at Sleaford v Wellingboro game, thought the Sleaford Goalkeeper was a bit sus ... but think they will improve on 6th place finish from last season. Would expext Wellingboro town to get promotion as it is likely to be any 2 from top 3 again. I am amazed at ON Chenecks good start though, but as above, think bubble will burst. Irchester have new floodlights, new managers and are much improved on last year, so would expect them to be thereabouts.

Sleaford Keeper sus - he's better than Gordon Banks ! I must say playing at Sileby on their carpet pitch is a pleasure. Fantastic set up.

Apologies, I heard that the whole Sleaford team played very well on Saturday against the Champions. Hopefully the same next week in the cup, which incidentally Sleaford would never have got to, if it hadnt been for two superb penalty saves by the keeper
