Yeah I forgot about them, have been there too when Yaxley beat them in extra time in (I think) the UCL cup about four years back.

Surely Sleaford's ground is the Wembley of the North ??

...and also bringing up the rear Eynesbury's frozen pitch could do with some work on it!

In fairness to Sleaford, the pitch is fairly good quality and the changing rooms and showering facilities aren't too bad it's just the rest of the set up - no bar etc that lets it down.

Sleaford is dreadful and how they got into the league with no bar etc etc etc is beyond me... Because having a bar is not required in the criteria! having refreshments available is......... which we do as for hospitality (which is not essential) being ranked in the top 5 of all 40 clubs in the UCL........................

Have deleted UCL players post in this thread and edited it in the other one about UCL One Grounds.
Please read the rules before posting.
I do not find it acceptable for people to make personal remarks about members of staff at any UCL club. End of.

I hear the groundsman at Huntingdon Town has won Groundsman of the Year for east midlands and east anglia. He now goes through to the finals at Windsor on september 6th and is being closely watched by Ipswich town FC. The pitch may not be great but he can do a good pitch even if he has no money to spend. Pity the management and players dont take much notice of the ground they play on!!

a blind man could do the same job at Huntingdon, how come he won these prizes but got beat by Great Paxton locally, perhaps Paxton didn't want to travel to Windsor.
