Must have been watching a different game mate - I saw him let two simple goals in last night - and nearly a third in the last minute. Seemed a nice lad though but no goalie is ever going to progress very far when they're only 5ft nothing !

Kicks well? Was watching a different game to me then Steve. I agree with Stan Ground- if a goalkeeper is any good he would be playing at that level at that age. I appreciate that Ryan is only 18 but i get the feeling there will not be any prem clubs coming knocking! Would be intrested to know about Kevin- the topic starter. Is he really a goalkeeping coach? I dont think he is- is his name really Mike? I think it probably is!

As a Yaxley fan I have been impressed by Lea.
It also helps having two experienced goalkeepers in Jody Vincent and Steve Corry around the club for him to learn from.
There are some that aren't happy he has been taking out of the first team after his impressive start for the club, but I think he is a talent that needs nurturing and he is at the right club to do it.
Ask Lee Clarke and Michael Frew about Yaxley's ability to give players a start!

Crikey, let's put this thread to bed !
I suppose if any of the above named keepers are good enough or have the desire and determination to progress then they will be moving onwards and upwards in the near future.
Good luck to all those that either move up into the Ryman, Unibond, Southern Prem or even higher.
