Anybody know why the Corinths V Thrapston game didn't go ahead on Saturday??

The game was called off by Corinthians as the pitch was too wet / muddy in a certain area of the pitch to mark it out properly........ that is the official version and called off by a referee apparently.....mmmmmmmmmmmmmm !!
Couldn't they have sprinkled some lime with their hands along the line if they really had wanted the game on.......just a thought !

The dryest January for years, i understand the scepticism, although their U18 fixture was called off last night, but they did play on it Wednesday. Somebody mention isolated showers!!
