Could this weekend prove to be a crucial one for those 3 clubs in pole position for the Division One title??
Leaders Sleaford entertain inform and 3rd placed ON Chenecks, and 2nd placed Wellingborough Town face a tricky test at Blisworth.
The race for the title could be a lot clearer by 5pm on Saturday or a lot more confusing.
Any thoughts??

Agreed - could be make or break at the top this weekend. Never easy playing at Blisworth on top of that volcano in a hurricane. Sleaford out of form but grinding out results and Chenecks are on a roll. Something has to give....

Rocky Lost! So out of 12 rounds - which round were Bissy out on their feet and crying for Adrien?! You can be assured the public were willing you on - well STFC anyway. - Marching on and looking good after a good win against ONC.

12 and a bit... stonewall penalty turned down by ref early doors which would have put Blissy ahead... until our linesman missed an off side for Towns,s opener, although town did hit the bar also. Blissy sent up our centre half into attack chasing a result... 84th minute Towns second....and wait for it.. 6th minute of injury time they got their third. Football is a funny old game!
all out for Rocky 2 on 29th April (however dont know what kinda squad we gonna get out, key players away, more old guys and knocks and injuries!!!) What a bloody season awful to say.. be glad when its over!

It wasn't a classic, but your first shot on target was on 97 mins! There must be a lot of time added on to games at your place due to the fact that there is another pitch behind yours and only one man and his van were over there to retrieve the ball. I must admit, your linesman did struggle to keep up with the play in the second half. Our 3rd goal was pure comedy though! See you on the 29th....

12 ... until our linesman missed an off side for Towns,s opener, Poor linesman - doesn't stand a chance - and this is your own Lino... Still like to continue with the tread started by ianh in the "cheating Linesman" section. Make the Linesmen as integral to a UCL Div 1 game as the UCL Prem. What does it take to kit them out properly - and maybe help and encourage newly qualified refs who want to referee? Maybe then, when we complain about the Linos, at least the perception is there that they are actually Linos and not an afterthought. Perception is King....

Didnt think for a minute you would give Blissy any credit Jon Mac if you knew of our problems you might be a little more balanced in your view, we drafting in guys 38 plus to play.... and you turn a blind eye to the penalty oh well.. Linesman... surely we should be highlighting and praising the good ones, and for me our man is first class.. honest, knows the laws re offside and a credit to the club... but like anyone he is human...so he got some stick on saturday

Blissycook - I just like to get many peoples main concern over the credibility of the UCL to light at any slight opportunity - you mentioned your Lino so I thought I'd bring it up again - I cant help myself!!- Your guy is brilliant - but, imagine him in a UCL official Linesman outfit just like the other lino on the other side and suddenly you will see consistency in the Linesmens appearance and then they look less conspicuous and less open to ridicule - this is Step 6 as I've said before. Any paying spectators watching need not know they are linesmen supplied by our own clubs - it is just a case of helping ourselves do the best for the league and our clubs.
Perception is King ....
If we can standardise Balls and fine people for not using subs boards, we can highlight this area as a potential area for improvement.
Going off the original thread but ....... ps. It sounds like you were very unlucky against WT - just like Rocky 1, ..... in Rocky 2 - Rocky Wins!!!!!
