ok, fair point, but football rules, the young players are good enough and it will benefit them to play with more experienced players, imagine if they were rubbing shoulders with ex pros or players that have proved it already in the ucl instead of of players who simply have not. again please remember that its not about emotions when it comes to winning, if the club need to wipe out their whole senior playing staff and keep the talented youngsters and mix them with proven players then that is what is going to benefit the club. the youth players and the excellent progression off the pitch are the only positive things to come out of towns 3 year ucl campaign, yes it takes time but this would be sped up by someone being ruthless with the average senior players. what is your opinion?

Youth/young players would benifit from a couple of experienced players, but that will cost the club money. And as everyone knows, they aint got any. So its better to develop a successful youth system. Town need a progressive committee to be a progressive club. I've been to every home match this season, and I aint seen so much as a raffle ticket or football card on sale. Jimmy your comments are true, Huntingdon could be in an envious position for crowds. But same rule applies. The committee have to get off their a***s and provide the funding for the club to go forward. At the moment they are too full of their own self importance to be bothered. The last two years their u18s were laughable, but the lads who ran it this year have done really well. 3 u18s regually in the first team and 6 in the reserves. Yet I often hear them complaining about lack of support. So there is a long long way to go. Finally, I just wish they would at least talk to people, get an across the board opinion, that would help

indeed, i believe my point may have been missed. the 'pregnat dog' debacle covered up the point i was making which was that ling would not b!tch or moan, he would just walk and indeed he did

I think they are frightened I might want to take the club forward. For what its worth, I would like to see Town developing on and off the field, seemlessly of course. As far as I'm concerned the manager runs the team, and is beyond public critisism. Managers meetings are private and the place for any comments by the committee for the manager. The committtee should be running the rest of the club ie: raising funds, ( like I said has anyone seen a raffle or any sort of fundraising ?) keeping everything neat and tidy, and most importantly to be seen and heard saying the right things. There are other issues too, its good to have a groundsman, but not one that "effs and blinds" at u18 players. Yes we do need a decent pitch, but its not a bowling green is it. And why bother to purchase a sprinkler system if you aint gonna use it. The last game against Eynesbury the pitch was bone hard, why wasn't the sprinklers on on the morning of the game?

I think Dan York is in talks with Irchester and Ryan Hunt has been approached by Higham Town Reserves already.
But what about the others ? I hear that Bassy is going to St Neots for £60 a week - let's just hope they don't expect him to turn up every week !
