As said in another thread a few days ago. Man from Corby Town has got the job apparently. Peterborough Northern Star have unveiled Darren Young as their new manager. He succeeds Mel Landin at the Chestnut Avenue helm. A cruciate injury ended Young's playing career prematurely when he was playing for Corby Town Reserves. He moved into coaching with Castle Rise and for the last four years he has managed the Corby Town Under 18 side, enjoying considerable success notably in the 2003-04 campaign when the Steelmen became the first club in history to win a clean sweep of the Northants Senior Youth League's trophies. For the last two seasons Young has also been at the helm of AFC Corby in the Northants Combination, winning promotion in the 2004-05 campaign.

Seems a starnge choice to me. I thought they would have gone for someone a bit more local. I also needed to get my post count off of 111!
