no it's not because if he wasn't happy with where the drop ball was taken from he would have drop it in a position where he was happy with.

Where's Georgie's post gone?? There was a lot of truths there!... I see that he posted the same comments under the now locked thread 'Yesterday'... It's still visible, if you've not had a look then do so, it's very interesting...
Controversy seems to follow Luke Thurlborne around; according to local press over the last couple of years he's been disciplined by the club on at least a couple of occasions.

Why delete the post from this thread but leave it on the closed one? If you want it all in this topic it should have been the other way round...

I don't know why the KL fans don't just come out and acknowledge that it was wrong, rather than being all whiney bleating on about how no rules were broken.
We all know no rules were brokenm, but there really is no justification for what they did. And it is a they - Setchell condoned Thurlbourne's actions by not allowing a Thrapston response.
The actions of a desperate man that knows that Lynn HAVE to be promoted this season, i reckon.
Still, it can only be a matter of a few weeks before something else controvbersial happens over at Stalag Walks.

A reminder to all that personal insults will not be tolerated, regardless of whether you have been insulted in a previous post.
Play fair and keep to the topic to hand....

Just to check with a small number of people on here who said the reaction and actions of the Thrapston players were justified........If a player dives in the box and wins a penalty that is scored from, does that give the opposing players every right to attempt to attack the person who dived? It is exactly the same, apart from it is against the rules to dive so that is actual cheating......now don't try and jump round the question......simple answer will do.

It seems that controversy follow Kings Lynn around where ever they go. I have seen the incident and, yes it was very unsporting, as the player clearly shot for goal. The referee is powerless to call the ball back, as once he restarted play by dropping the ball, no laws were broken, and the goal technically should stand. As it was unsporting behaviour, Kings Lynn couldve allowed Thrapston to score from the restart, but chose not to. I read on here, that someone said the manager shouldve taken the Thrapston players off the field of play. But that is a big no no. Under no circumstances should this happen, and incurrs a large fine. I find it disappointing that Kings Lynn supporters are actually in support of their teams' actions, in what was yet another blot on the club in general.

'loopylinnet' is quoted on here for saying GOAL OF THE SEASON. Now that says to me he supports the incident. Maybe his name is relevant. !
