Darren Bent came to Huntingdon Town to help promote the club this weekend - With the local press helping, he stayed for a chat and a coffee, he wants to help get his home town club get established and wished us luck for the coming season

Good session last night - again have to say what a cracking bunch of lads we have put together, not only the players but all managers -
Jim Mcburnie, Rob Early, Martin Ray, Jason Lee, Gary Ling, Bob MacDonald, Simon Lucken, Alan Rogers, Paul Swannell and all the backroom staff through out the club -

whilst i think its great that darren bent has taken time to visit huntingdon town i'd have to question his loyalty
i personally know one of his best childhood mates whom he seems to now totally ignore
he also has to ask questions of himself and remember the club that actually nurtured his talent and layed the foundations for what he is is today ....and that club was godmanchester rovers not huntingdon town ....so next time i see him i'll ask the question as what his loyalty is to huntingdon and not GMC
maybe money saps the memory ay?

oh and by the way he's apparently a mad keen arsenal fan too......see what i mean
and before you PC people start ask yourself this
why did Alan Shearer never join man utd
why would stevie gerrard never play for man utd and vice versa neville for liverpool
see there are some LOYAL players even in professional football
