I am loving this and I think the proposal of a game is an excellent idea, I will make suitable arrangements now. Lets not forget that a long time ago in our History our Reserves made the final of a Jnr cup competition and played our 1st team who also made the final. Guess who won??  A great idea followed by the presentation evening. looking forward to it  |

I dont think it will make any difference. The Scully reserve team have won 8 on the trot and have 31 out of the last 33 points. Presuming Carlton (34 goals) will be back from injury having missed last couple of games. I think Cogenhoe will be celebrating...... ;D

nice try cook!! i can confirm we will have no 1st teamers in tomorrow despite you best efforts to scare us!! also our top striker is still missing and wont play.We have had injury problems recently BUT the fringe RESERVE players{yes you heard correct}that is the guys on the fringes of the reserve team have done well also along with the youngsters{2 16yr olds},so even though on paper we could be stronger im sure the lads will give spencer a decent game.

cook- no you didnt say that we had 1st teamers in but i felt that was where you were hoping it would go!,my mistake sorry.We will definatly not have any in as the young lads have done really well and even though they are blowing a bit now,they deserve to play against the divisions 2nd best team so far, they will certainly give their all i know that for sure.

judgejohn,i will try and keep this reply as clean/nice as possible but there are a couple of things you may want to rethink on this match.They are 1/the date.2/this will not be a friendly.This match will ruin presentation night as i will be sending the reserve team out for a war the likes of which the 1st team have never come across [not even sleaford is a comparison),snapping ankles,toes shins.We will then get the ball down and win the match.Thats all i am saying please do not underestimate it and think carefully about your dates.You have been warned

Firstly congratulations SS on what I understand is the best finish our reserve side has ever achieved making the Club season the finest in our short history . Secondly our history has taught us never to underestimate the reserves as the only time they did officially play eachother, the reserves won . Thirdly I know the presentation follows..............thought we would make a day of it  . Finally, we would have an official Ref and normal rules will apply so have your war but do not be surprised if your warriors end up in the bar early  . Seriously though, I would expect a serious level of competition, but do not think for one minute that the 1st team are a bunch of girl thingies. To do that not only insults them but every team they have taken on this season and left the field undefeated, heads high. For the record and as you mentioned it, Sleaford were very tough and physical with it and in my opinion would have mauled our reserves.......sorry m8 thats not being disrespectful just based on 3 years performance where they have mauled almost everybody they have played including Whitworths FC. Anyway, you sort out the game with Joe and let the fun begin.......  |

AND THEN WE WILL SMASH SLEAFORD ASWELL IF YOU THINK THEYD MAUL US-BRING THEM LITTLE KITTENS ON.THESE TEAMS ARE OLD HAT NOW PLAYING AGAINST OTHER OLD HAT TEAMS WHOS REPUTATION PROCEEDS THEMSELVES.WHITWORTHS RES NOW HAVE A NEW STRONG FIT AND DYNAMIC TEAM CAPABLE OF BEATING ALL THESE WELL RESPECTED OUTFITS IN DIV 1,INFACT I THINK WE WE WOULD WALK IT. out of interest under my leadership which would be from corinths res cup game in october could you tell me our sendings off/bookings record please and tell me if its good or not? A war can de fought within the rules..and fairly
