BB - he bites cos deep down in his heart of hearts he knows I'm a better manager than him - FACT , granted i have not won ucl div1 yet but i have been winning lge trophies and cups every season in the old EMA and NORTHANTS COMBINATION - FACT...for the best part of 9yrs thats many many more than figo - FACT...AND when he wins as many as me I will be the first to shake his hand BUT it wont happen because great managers do it for years and that is what i am. Anyway ucl div 1 is little better than ucl combination div 1 - FACT and ill say what i like because its the truth and i don't care if that upsets other managers - FACT 1/ What are they going to do about it? 2/ Figo you know i don't do "respect" and I'm still coming to get you......All of you

Ian H - just a short response to you!!!!!!! Next season im invovled in doing something else and thats producing and bringing through young players...a role ive never done before and really looking forward to , the pressure on these lads to win , win , win at all costs will not be high priority as we are looking at what is best for their development AND anyway im fed up winning trophies year after year as it starts to get a little boring after 8/9 years of doing it , so im having a break from winning leagues for a year maybe even two and working with the youngsters instead while i also finish off doing my uefa badges BUT i would imagine that i will be back winning trophies in a couple of seasons........I would just like to add that me getting involved with whitworths res in middle of october when they were 3rd bottom and guiding them to a 3rd place finish is the only season in 9 that ive not won anything so i am only human....just like figo!!!!!!!!

For the record Corby Grampian Fc is where i won most my trophies but unfortunatley you dont get a column in the back of th ET every monday/friday when you manage in the EMA/NORTHANTS COMBINATION ALSO im not one for blowing my own trumpet about my success ( not until i discovered this website!!!) , so its true you probably have not heard of me before as you are likely based out of the catchment area ive worked in and this is where the injustice lies . However anybody who has worked for , alongside , against me will tell you that im the best theres ever been AND i can get a result whatever the circumstances . My idol was still is BRIAN CLOUGH the greatest manager that ever lived and because of the pathetic bullcrap society of " THE HAMMED UP CV " i the same as cloughie will probably never get the opportunity at a big club that my undoubted talent deserves. This is why the standard is getting lower and lower because the real talent is not being given the opportunity.......ucl is for nice guys but nice guys wont take the standard to the next level , although i would like to add that i did learn one very important thing from figo and that is " THAT BULLS**t MAKES THE WORLD GO ROUND " HA ha aint that right figo???

I would imagine that the reason that you never got any newspaper coverage was because your efforts werent newsworthy. I totally understand that you are proud of your success but it was just low-level park football. Having several ucl players at your disposal and playing them in the lesser leagues of the combination is something that most could do.....if they wanted to. The term big fish little pond springs to mind. Also, the reason that you havent been given a chance is maybe that youre a tad hot headed(check forum 4 evidence) and that isnt good for a ucl club whose structure relies every one being together as one...no one man bands. Im pretty sure that youre going to disagree with this and i wouldnt expect nothing less. Apart from all this, im sure you are a wonderful human being who just feels a little held back and wants to show the world of his talents.

You did a lot for our reserves I have said many times but you were not able to get a result against Spencer whatever the circumstances that would have got 2nd place and not third. You may well say Spencer had some first teamers in,they will counter that..........but you said whatever the circumstances! For the record though I think you will do very well next year and we do expect to see you the season after. Incidentally we are not looking at getting relegated ;D

Hmm..I will take on board the last to comments and reflect...but what puts alot of things into prospective and where i think you have lost sense of reality and missing the point and that is that ucl div1 is little more than the low level park football you talk about , also getting results in the ucl is easier than this lower level park football , in the ucl the organisation and set up behind the scenes means as a manager you can concentrate solely on the football...a privalege i have never come across before and the reason why ucl football is a walk in the park for me esp having had this tough hands on everything background. I would like to add that corby grampian fc did infact make alot of headlines and were a feared team in this county..no doubts about that whatsoever and at full strength would have beaten whitworths 1st team without too many problems...we destroyed(although the result didnt reflect that 2 1 ) whitworths res and had half the team out injured/suspened..As for your " one man bands " theory this does carry some weight and all clubs should be encouraged to adopt a policy where more people are involved in running the club as if JJ decided he was packing it in , who would take up the mountain of work/role that he has ?? the answer would be very few and the club would then be in some jeopardy so perhaps you should think twice about throwing stones on this issue as the reality is that more ucl clubs are "one man bands" than you realise and whitworths is almost certainly one of those because if JJ wasnt there then the club is in serious trouble..do not take the statment lightly Billyboy trust me on this i know more about football biusness than you realise and you are not quite as clever as you think hiding behind your username..How is figo??

phew! you have surpassed my expectations on this one. your reply has a lot of truth in it but yet i still have to stick with my initial point.The combination is a lot easier than any ucl league. if we're talking about 1st versus 1st team then only on the odd occasion will the comb teams win,surely you must agree. i know they had great success in the junior cup this year but generally they dont go pass the semi's. i dont know about your game with whitworths so cant comment. As for my so called affiliation with figo....i dont think so. everyone knows who he is as he's on here bigging up whitworths as much as you are slating them. Personally im a wboro 2004 fan and my anonominity is mine to keep,its more fun that way.Looking forward to your reply.

Hmmm..I don't think so billyboy , you are not that clever - i have read all your postings and i know who you are!!!!!!!! you gave away to many clues m8 , I'm looking forward to seeing you soon..very soon in-fact HAha. Anyway getting back to your point my response would be that the top of ucl1 is about level with the top boys in the comb prem HOWEVER.. I think that the bottom half of the comb prem is alot stronger than the bottom half of ucl div1 in-fact many teams in comb div 1/2 would beat sides in the bottom half of ucl div1 and this is where alot of my arguments are at regarding standards/competition/trophies/reality checks . I will put my hand up to one thing though and that is , that when i read some of my stuff on here i realize how poor my English is and i cant believe i actually got a grade a in gcse English lit and language? Standards eh i suppose it is all based on opinions and i base mine on having played in ucl prem when i was 18 - was a regular in ucl div1 at 20 - played and managed as a young manager in the Ema/combination on Saturdays and also Sundays and won many trophies - have had 1 very easy year as a manager in ucl res div 1 and absolutely walked it just like i always will . SO i trust my instincts and opinions and will back them to the hilt on and off the pitch...what do base your opinions on billyboy?? LOL LOL LOL

If you seriously think that winning trophies in the EMA and the combination makes you the best player/manager since sliced bread then your clearly not as great as you think you are!!

Whether you agree or not the fact of the matter is the UCL is officially a higher level of football than the Comb, no ifs or buts.

Also, if your so damn good and you've won all these trophies in the last 8/9 years why has it taken you so long to get invloved in a UCL club. And when that chance came it came with a reserve side 3rd bottom in the league!!

You bang on about how good you are but in my book and by the reading some of the other posts on here you've achieved nothing. Oh no, dont tell me you took whitworths to 3rd in the league, big deal!! Did you get promotion??? NO, does anybody ever remember who finished 3rd in a reserve league??? NO!!

I feel sympathy towards Whitworths who gave you a crack at UCL managment and all you've done particularly since you left is completely disrespect the club and their achievements last season!

If I had any involvement in Rothwell Corinthians I would be looking at your many posts on this forum and would be seriously regretting the decision to let you anywhere near the club. You clearly only think about yourself and personally I don't believe you have any interest in bringing young players through at all and are only interested in trying to get the job of managing the 1st team by stabbing everyone on the back!!

cam, i agree with every thing you said ss in my eyes is full of him self, rothwell dont know what they have let themselves in for he will try and bully his way to the 1st team position,and what his said on a previous forum surprise surpriese its cilla here thats him.

Thanks for the support guys, I think though that SS is having some fun, though maybe gone a bit too far. To be fair to him he did not try to overthrow Joe (dont think that is his plan at RC) and we would have liked him to stay because he did a good job.

Time to move on for all of us I think and certainly with pre-season friendlies just round the corner we wont have to wait long. ;D
