Chris,ref s/s new managers. I can say that s/s has not only offered me some good advice but has been 1 of many a good football people i have had the pleasure of working with and alongside during my time at whitworths ie- meds, figo,sargy,kipper and bubbs. yes i will be on a learning curve next season(but are'nt we all learning all the time however good we think we are.) but it is a curve i am willing to take and with all the support not only from my team(S.Bicknell,I.baxter) all the players,commitee,Figo and his team i feel that its a season to look forward to with anticipation.Yes i will use what i have learnt from other people but most importantly i will use my style of management which i believe can only help improve the res's as a team but each player indvidually whether young or exp. And i think that thier is going to be a few people out there surprised by what they see and hear. At whitworths there is a belief not only in each individual player but in everyone involved from managers to bagmen,of which all play a very important role to how successful any football club is. But back to s/s yes the man does know his stuff and i have no doubt he will take his team in the right direction. Also thier is nothing wrong in being confident with your abilities except most people do it with modesty. good luck to all involved at what ever level in the ucl next season.

Good stuff muzza , i am sure you will have good 1st season esp with the whole management team ethic you talk about it which is very strong at whits and something i will mention near the end of this . Cam , Cammock and the likes..before you even come on here and corressponding with me , can you answer these questions 1/ what have you ever won or achieved ? 2/ Has anybody ever wrote good thing about you on this website or anything else for that matter ? LOL LOL LOL . I imagine the answer is more than likely no to both of these and you really cannot diss anything previous i have ever done as im head and shoulders above you guys..LOL very true . just a reminder then..i have won 6 lge titles {the last one being comb prem by 15 points with the last 3games forfieted due to time limit} , 4 knockout lge cup . the lower junior cup . I have als been lower junior cup runner up and lge cup runner up . in my first crack at ucl i took a whitworths team from 3rd botton after 8 games and led them to thier highest ever place finish in history for ressys , also i was part was i not of joes WHOLE management team that whitworths are big on that landed the ucl div1 title going unbeaten..arte you saying that the res manager is NOT part of that ? ha ah...So before you insult yourself any further boys why dont you have a look at yourself and what you have or have ever offered ? Me all ive ever done is succeed and apart from last season won nearly every competition ive ever entered..have you??? Next season i look forward to my new challenge of bringing through young players as another string to my bow , as for winning lge i think im going to have a couple of seasons off that while i concentrate on my next target/challenge...young players

Unfortunately cam,i have to disagree! I think this the whole whitworths/superscully/im the best saga is by far the most interesting thread goin. We all know that he is 'confident',we all know that he is by far the greatest manager ever(aint that right ss). the main thing is that all of us suckers keep on lining up to get him out but he justs keeps verbally knocking us out of the park. check out the viewing figures on a thread about a bl**dy website. He seems to have scared of figo,who is no longer saying whitworths are the greatest ever.

Also, as far as people owning up to their identity,it aint gonna happen and why should it anyway? What use would spiderman be if he swang around without his mask?...well?....what would happen?..I tell you what would happen SMASH,BANG,WALLOP! there'd be web everywhere and supervillians would run the world. Do any of you want that...I didnt think so. Superscully,let us keep our masks on and please,can people start to spell thier correctly,it's their. He seems to have scared of figo,who is no longer saying whitworths are the greatest ever. I cant imagine him saying that, but I am sure you will correct me as you wouldnt misquote anyone ............ would you.  I must admit, I thought he would be at the AGM to collect the award with JJ for Outstanding team performance |

He certainly gives Ali and Cloughie a run for their money on the "I am the greatest" clapometer............just got to win something meaningful now, though developing the kids is as rewarding as I am sure he will confirm for us.

The award was not for outstanding performance but an unbeaten campaign which is outstanding but it didnt say that and I agree that I do not think SS will win anything outstanding whilst I remain at Whitworths  .............ooh he could win the lottery and that would be outstanding. |

Billyboy, I have not stated that Whitworths are the greatest ever, I have though just confirmed the facts in our defence, among them are that last season Whitworths did something that no other 1st team has ever achieved in the history of the league. If people then want to point out our failings then thats up to them.
We were the best side in our division last season, in what I thought was a decent competition with some good sides, but that wont win us anything in the one coming up unless we earn it!
Also I am now really bored with all this, SS is a master at getting everyone wound up and so many bite (including me in the past) giving him licence to keep this going. I can see his face smiling now, hahahaha
We now move into a new season and everything else is history. The best of luck to everyone (including SS) and whatever team, standard, league or division they are in.
Ian, the award last night was for the club, not me, so it was right JJ collected it.

CAM - you have nothing to gloat about!! So its not that you dont do it , its cos you CANT lol lol lol Also you have answered none of the questions i asked you?? Also i have a great pull for players do you? someone must like me , i must be doing something right apart from all the winning of football matches which frankly im getting bored of.. time i started to lose many and see what its like to be a loser type bitter frustrated person like you!!!!!!!!! As for me having "a big fall" oooooooh who cares its only football m8 and im sure im a big enough boy now to not let it get me to down...its not life or death is it? Get a life m8 or win as many trophies as me and "find that wisdom man"!!!!!!!!
