For the 1st time since taking over i can say i have a full squad to select from & personel to compete. We started the brighter & controlled the 1st 15 mins, but lost a bit of momentum for a 10 minute spell. with us dominating there keeper & defence was busy & we played a lot of pass & move. in 25th minute there keeper pulled off a double save from Lee Deane to keep them in it & a 30 yarder from Jamie Browett. Unfortunatly a sloppy tackle gave them a free kick outside our box & with us switched off the took it quick! there 11 hit a shot that clearly hit there own players hand in our box fell to the 7 with open goal to poke in 1-0 down. Normally we feel sorry for ourselves after going a goal down, but the heads were up & we went for it, Gerard Evans put a delightfull cross over the head of there full back for Ondre Odaine to control & slot past the keeper 1-1 half time.
2nd half we started quick & again pilled on the pressure then Mark White played a floating ball over the top which there centre back tried to head home only for Sam Moakes to nick it & pass it into empty net. we switched off after going ahead allowing them to build momentum, panic stations set in & midfield got caught over passing it & they snatched it to put the ball in the net. Jake them pulled off a few good saves to keep us level & we were on the ropes. double substitution, Michael Drage for Sam Moakes & Michael Benning on for Lee Deane. we held off the pressure until a great finnish in the 89th minute that bounced off the bar & only just landed behind the line 3-2 & we were devastated. So all out attack in last 3 minutes, a ball from Mark White found Michael Drage on edge of the box & a great little pass sideways to Michael Benning to run onto & smash it into the top corner 3-3, 93rd minute but no more than we deserved. After the match i was very happy with what id seen, still a few teething bits but allround happy with what i seen especially as there a great team who also had 4 1st team players playing for them. My man of the match was easily TomHart on his debut he was calm & composed at the back & made a huge diffrence. Team rating 9 out of 10

Firstly this was a reserve match. Sileby is also spelt SILEBY not silbey. Went to have a look at this one and I dont know what game you were watching but you were either asleep or got fed up being on your own on the bench with your only sub as a linesman and went to get another cup of tea ! If Silebys number 9 had put half of the excellent chances he had it would have been at least another 5. You defence were awful and all over the place. Your keeper saved you so many times and your 9 looked a threat but the rest were very average, including your mouthy captain. Last night Sileby were not a great team at all and their mistakes won you the game nothing else. I dont know where you get your information from or maybe just making it up, but I only saw one first team player out there last night as hes apparently been on holiday, not 4. Another was on the bench but didnt get on. Fair play for your lads to keep going to the end, but to say that you deserved it is embarrassing. I would spend some time sorting out your teams attitude as all they did all night was kick the Sileby players off the park. Quite a good game but Macca open your eyes on saturday and be honest with yourself and your team. You got a good draw but no one in the ground could believe it.

we kicked you off the pitch? you should have gone to specsavers! i do believe that there was a fair few tackles going in from sileby (iphone changed it to sileby). It was 1 of your players who said there was 4 1st teamers playing after the game as we walked off.

Im not from Sileby so my opinion is unbiased and Im too young to wear specs but thanks for the tip.....just say what I and every other person in the ground saw except you it seems. So it is you my friend who needs to specsavers and beyond ! As I said I saw 1 first team player - Joe Rich Number 5. No other first team player in sight, apart from the odd reserve player whos made a sub appearance ? Sileby players were reacting to being kicked all over the place. You lot turned up at 7.30 so game was late to kick off, looked a mess, a sub as a linesman who the ref had to keep over-ruling as he got it wrong everytime- all in all an embarrassment for your club. And the result for you and your i phone was certainly not what you deserved - Sileby were poor but were on top throughout and their mistakes, and their poor finishing won you the game in my humble unbiased opinion.

Sorry Macca- Just read it back as I cant see of course and noticed I credited you lot winning the game - It was a well un-deserved draw for you lot of course. Good exciting finish as a neutral but sileby were mugged.

you battered us for 15 minutes towards the end! & to be honest you score in the 89th minute thought that was it. but if you dont play till the final whistle you dont get rewarded & for us thats normally they way. but we had 3 new players & about 4 whove never played together so we did have moments of being all over the place. As for us kicking you off the park i have 3 or 4 players with bad cuts or swollen ankles who will disagree

I was also at the game and totally agree with hopewewin, Hunts looked like at best an average sunday side, they had one lad up top that looked ok but the rest of the side were not that good, Sileby could and should have buried them with the amount of chances they had and i'm sure the lad dressed in the hotdog outfit after the game is a testament to that! (i'm guessing he was the number 9?) I understand that Maccaceltic is trying to keep his teams spirits up but seriously coming on an open forum with rose tinted specs on painting a completely different picture of the game is frankly laughable, Credit to Huntingdon for coming back into it at the end of the match but saying they were the better side is highly inaccurate

I suggest that before you go to Specsavers you should drop off at the Apple shop and learn how to use your new i phone as your spelling, punctuation and use of our wonderful language is as embarrassing (note the correct spelling) as your team was turning up late and were an un-organised rabble with a sub as a linesman. I dont think for one minute that the Sileby (note the correct spelling) players will be too concerned whether they lose (note the correct spelling) against you or any other Sunday (note the correct spelling) team. If they do it will be because they threw the game away and not because your muppets played well. You plastic cockney boys should have been pleased and grateful to actually play on some grass as having watched a game on your delightful cow field/desert with no grass the other week it must have been unusual to pass the ball and it went straight ! Wont be at your game unfortunately as I cant afford a new hat, scarf, jumpers and coats to wear to keep warm at that awful wind tunnel of a crap ground you play at. The clubhouse was ok but the pitch, stand and dugouts are embarrassing (note the correct spelling). Your Chairman seemed a decent bloke though. Good luck with your new i phone and new glasses at Specsavers.

Thank you for your kind words & I appreciate (notice correct spelling for big word) your honesty about our wonderful ground. I am disappointed (notice another big word) your not there as I could use your advice on tactics & spelling.
Some of us grew up on the mean streets of Glasgow & may not have had private education (notice correct spelling) you seem to have or maybe I'm dyslexic(notice correct spelling or am I dyslexsic?). Anyway if you have any more helpfull advice on ground maintenance(another big word) or you'd like to come be our linesman please don't hesitate in contacting the club. Also as your obviously a genius & all knowing, are you busy next week as I'm sure you could advise me on my choice of glasses when I go to specsavers?

Maccaceltic ... sorry mate, but if you are going to preach and try and make somebody look stupid then you'd better look to your own spelling at the same time. "I am disappointed (notice another big word) your not there as I could use your advice on tactics & spelling." Can you spot your error? "your" should be "you're" Tut tut ;D ;D
