Good to see Huntingdon putting a few good results together. Manager has obviously turned it around a little bit. They are a good set of young lads and im sure they will get a lot better. Look forward to the Hunts Premier Cup game when we travel there (Needingworth). Chris

8-)no luck chris on wednesday - your club should be in the ucl as applied for the league should have given you a years grace as you already have lights etc on your performance you would do well in the ucl div 1

i heard that the league wanted all the ground works finished in the next 2 months
i think the league should have given them at least a year to get the work finished as they are losing daventry next year the more clubs the better
they are a good club with a great manager and a team top of the cambs league div a - floodlights , dugouts etc this will be the ridgeons gain and our loss in the future

we could do with a good manager like him next season and bring in some out of town players as huntingdon players are just not good enough - apart from bassy
huntingdon has a population of 30,000 and town are the only senior team in the town - they should be at least in the prem
maybe next season will be our year

Have needingworth applied for Ridgeons?
ridgeons prem will have to change soon as they have 3 reserve sides in there which the FA will not allow for much longer

no - they need to win or be in the top 2 of the cambs prem next season then they could apply i think the ridgeons will take them as this year they took fulbourn who play on a park pitch and have given them 2 years to find a ground
maybe the ucl should follow suit and keep the div 1 strong

seems very strange if Fulbourn dont have lights or an enclosed ground etc as step 6 requirment within two years will be floodlights etc as i understand it.

If (When) Harrowby get relegated it is believed they will look at joining the Lincs league

so i think the league should have looked harder at trying to get needingworth in the league not running div 1 with possibly 16 teams

I certainly hope the UCL does not lose anymore clubs (Harrowby have recently had to make repairs to their stand etc to be able to play and i dont believe they have submitted any notification to resign from UCL.) and i had believed that PNS ground was something to do with peterborough FA so dont know how rugby gets a look in,. its a super pitch over there. I guess the requirments of step 5 and looming ones for step 6 are putting clubs under real pressure and i suspect some will take up the option and drop down to Lincolshire senior league, northants combination etc. That is a real shame and surely does nothing for the non league game and the steps!

watch out for Rob, he could be chairman at Huntingdon next year. concentrate on getting the pitch up to standard, and let the manager sort the team, I'm sure your comments about bringing in a new manager and players will endear you to the present manager and playing staff

I was reading an official from Huntingdon in the Peterborough Evening Telegraph last night. He was slating Jubilee Park saying the wind always ruins the game up there (according to the report). Dunno if it is on the ET website but you can have a look for it by clicking here.
