Great result for PNS, congratulations, Kings Lynn or St Ives in the Final, unless the League bottle it. Decision time tomorrow night I believe at the Manageent Committee meeting. Any bets anyone? Seeing as it appears neither of them want the extra games, why not throw them BOTH out and have a PNS/St IVES Final.

Its not a case of wanting to be in it or not,at the end of the day its a cup,and every team wants to win cups. Its just a case of priorities, and the league cup was further down in the pecking order,we already have one final to contend, another vase leg to contend, league games to contend, and now looks like extra league cup games to contend. So all those people out there knocking St Neots and ourselves, put the following in order of importance for your club, nothing to do with budget, players, managers, what would you as fans rate first to last :League ;FA Vase ;County Cup ;League Cup. Feel free to let me know.

Lumpy St.Neots & Kings Lynn are both good sides but you ain't Man Utd.
Not sure when it started to be trendy for non-league sides to start prioritising competitions and as Arsenal are finding out can quickly bite you on the backside
This is of course a case of a pot and a kettle as I did the same in division 1 last year with the Northants Junior Cup when deciding to let PNS play Friday night & Saturday afternoon, as even as the holders, the county competition just got in the way!!!

What I don't understand, if they knew he was illegible why bother playing it? If they didn't want a fixture pile up why get to the semis. Why not give the reserves a go in a earlier round? As I'm sure everyone would be aware that if they got that far this would happen?

St Neots didn't know until after the match and then immediately contacted the UCL's registration secretary.

At the start of every season all clubs and managers know exactly what competitions they are entered for. Surely it's every clubs expectation to play as many games as poss in one season which then would equate to success. Managers are employed (in certain cases) to build a squad that will sustain a challenge on all fronts. League cup semis, vase semis and a 2 way battle for the title, it must be so tough being involved in all of these still at this time of the season!!! People have lost site of what football is all about. Too big for boots just doesn't sum it up!!!!

I see John Walker is on the UCL Committee (also a follower & member of St Neots Town FC)....mmmm, i wonder what imput he'll have when i comes to a decision in regards to St Neots Town being either expelled from the competition or a replay to happen. The latter i'm sure he'll push forward for the other UCL Committee to vote for. Time will tell.....

I reckon they could have got away with it. after all only them and Strachans club knew about the FA not verifying the papers till the monday. They could have just said nothing and see what might happen and then pleaded ignorance. But to their credit they owned up. They are also in The hinchingbrook semi. They also only have 1 game per week to the end of season so there was no reason not to want to play one more game in the league cup, and against St Ives of all teams. Its not as though they have a fixture pile up. More the FA fault than St neots i would think. Anyway they will for sure get thrown out of the competition.

How can it be the fault of the FA? The mistake was made by St Neots, and 1 game a week until the end of the season,King's Lynn at least 2 games a week,no punishment for them being kicked out,no fine would hurt St Neots,so they basically get away with it again? How much do they want the league?

The reason Lynn have 2 games a week is because they are the best team we have ever seen in the UCL everyone is in awe of them. their ground is magnificent, their team is wonderfull, their supporters are fantastic, and of course as they all tell us all the time best crowds in the world. To sum up. big crowds, big egos, big heads. and proberbly win nothing. But of course we are only too happy to have a team to watch. Right.
