How do you know cookie? I have to say from what I saw on saturday I thought they were blowing alot from 60 on, the two front lads were good, the midfield kicked more fresh air than I can remember seeing in a long time and then were gracious enough to slate the UCL as being garbage, number 5 was excellent though (ginger lad).........friendly group. Previous comments made about their bench spot on as i witnessed it as well but unfortunately Thrapston defending was really bad for the 2 in a minute killer. If Sports and whitworths get to the final, I predict either Sports will win or finish with less than 11 players on the field. just my thoughts but building to a ding dong

I obviously wasnt there Saturday but can well believe the behaviour of Pboro Sports bench/manager when we played them i thought they bwere an absolute disgrace with some of the comments towards my lads, and also some of the things he was telling his lads to do to mine. Hard luck Cam, all the best for the rest of the season.

Well cl all repeated against the Thrapston boys even the touchline antics from the bench and then high fiving after creating a ruck. One guy had his head bandaged (Terry Butcher stylie) blood everywhere and was just walking up an down the line, very symbolic like. i was dissappointed Thrapston lost because on the whole, defending aside i thought they got stuck in and deserved at least extra time.

Merko i'm not so sure they will give Whitworths a game at all from what i've seen this year they're far better than anyone in ucl 1 i don't think they were much better than us we just never got going and didn't defend very well but it wasn't just the defences fault as they did ha

Sorry chick at 2 - 2 the defence went missing and just when Thrapston almost went 3 - 2 up, they were suddenly 2 - 4 down. The forward on the right had no - one marking him for about 10 mins and by then it was all over. Real shame I thought because the team worked bloody hard to get back on level pegging..

Its reassuring to see that the people who watched the game all have pretty much the same opinion.
Thats about the game itself and the idiots on the touchline.
I just hope that whatever happens P'boro Sports don't win it otherwise I'd be gutted!!

Well I understand they are away to Higham next and I would hope Jim will not get caught out, certainly he will have plenty of support from the local UCL boys. Other game is I am told at Whitworths or Kislingbury.

Wot a crock of rubbish you talk cam.Salad dodger eh lol i havnt heard that many times.........Much.Whilst i have the greatest respect for the UCL i and their teams i have no respect for a football team that tried to kick the crap out of us on Saturday.If you were honest in your assessment then you would also agree that Thrapston were very late on a number of occassions.It was always going to be who took their chances as i thought both teams had plenty.I do not regret anything that happened on the sidelines as ANY manager would not have condoned what went on during the game by the Thrapston players.I do not need to look at myself as i stand by my players.You gave it the big one when you were kicking us but didnt like the comeback.And you come on a website to voice your opinions yet were very quiet on the day, funny that isnt it?As for cl saying we were a disgrace i remember them giving it the big one in the dugout when they were 3v1 up but soon shutup when it was 4v3 to us.It cuts both ways gentlemen accept it.We are pleased to have come this far in the competition so thanks for calling us a bunch of tossers some of you as you have inspired us.May i take this opportunity to say well done to Higham and wish them well and look forward to a good day at their place. ;D

tompsl, firstly cam wasn't on the bench, i was and to be fair you have to be honest i don't know which of the hobbits it was that was calling us average, but i beleive it was the manager and also you say you have respect for the ucl teams? why were you behaving like animals in the changing rooms, we all congratulated you we were good losers and i hardly think singing ucl w**k,w**k,w**k is winning gracefully! this is not a case of being sore losers its just fact so enjoy whatever park it is you will be playing on saturday

Good to get a reply from tomps other side of the fence so to speak but I watched the game and whilst the conditions didnt help i thought along of your boys were flying in and kicking fresh air. Your boy with the tight hair cut (number 5 I think) at the back was a very good player, i thought he had an excellent game. good luck to you both but i am sure you wont be surprised that i would like to see Higham reach the Final. ;D
