hey ianh i take it its ok 4 cam 2 call us tossers and w****rs (page 2) but not 4 me 2 call him a pratt? No its not alright, I apologise I shouldnt have only edited yours. on the football side, the main difference between the UCL division 1 and the top division of any of its feeder leagues is not the skill or ability of the team, but more to do with the backroom staff and facilities.

Very true !!! (the mouthy bit ) I know from first hand experience ! I don't think you are alone with first hand experience of the gobby one from Kislingbury. He's got no idea when it comes to football, just shouts and bawls. I was talking to a couple of his players the other day and they both said they just don't listen to him because he's so mouthy. Makes me wonder why they retain him as manager? Can't be on his results either.

doctorfootydave, do you still think the "mouthy" Kislingbury manager hasn't got a clue about football after Saturday? Although he is vocal this is down to his passion for his team to do well and I can assure you that all the lads are behind him in the dressing room and do listen to what he has to say. Kisl finished 3rd last season and are now in the semi final of the junior cup so I would say his results speak for themselves.
Thanks to Whitworths for their excellent hospitality and the sporting manner in which they accepted the defeat ( especially the manager), and I hope they gain the promotion their club deserves.
What did Whitworths make of the "mouthy" kisl manager?

It was a Q F and everyone left in it wants to win it. As long as it does not boil over into fighting in the dugouts or personal insults (seemed to be the case Thrapston V PSports) then you do what you have to do to win. No complaints from a still shell shocked Whitworth team but if you dont take your chances you will not win a thing. Well done to Kislingbury who rightly enjoyed the victory but were gracious enough not to rub our boys noses in it. Good luck

think u have 2 look in2 the reasons why pboro sports v thrapston was heated!! and cam and the rest can have a blinkered view if they like!! we went 2 nil up early and thrap numba 8 (capt) decided that he wld attack and kick out at any psl player that got near him. shld have and at least 6 bookings all by himself!! great example 2 set the rest of his team. ( and the reason they lost) and we aint no push over and will mix it with any1. the banter was equal from both dug outs, agree that it got a bit naughty with the incident over the right back, aint proud of that but hey it happens. as for thrap numba 4 punching our numba 4 off the ball just b4 full time... well he was a lucky man that the ref didnt see it. OVER CELEBRATE!!! 2 right!!!! i take it thrapston wldnt have yeah? ?

Yep, even the "gobby one". Another good win for the stick insect with the mouth, on Saturday. After a fortunate Round One: a no show by Bective, an easy game against lower division opposition (Weedon) in Round 2 and scraping through against Potterspury. Then a hard fought and well deserved win at Whitworths and another close one on Saturday against PNS. I'm beginning to think that mouth almighty's name is on the trophy. Well done to the Kisl lads and I hope it's a good final against P'boro' Sports. I really pity the poor 4th official!

Agree round 1 was very fortunate,... especially as Bective is a team that 5 or 6 of us have played for over the years and a couple have managed in the past..... in fact it was a real disappointment that the game was never played....
:-) btw i'm sure the 4th official will be fully armed with ear plugs!! :-)
All the best Webby

Im sure it will be a good night Webby. We worked really hard on Saturday to get a result. The fitness of Higham really showed second half and we couldnt get near them or get the ball off them, having said that they didnt really have a decent chance.Look forward to seeing you on the night Webby.Regards Tom.Cam, you seem like a chap who likes having a bit of banter and a laugh, im the so called"fat" one.Ive got feelings you know.I would love to sit down with you over a pint or two,A, to discuss my weight problem and B, to openly discuss with you about our match and footy in general. Will be popping down to see you in the next few weeks Cam.I look forward to our rendezvous.Regards Tom.

:-) btw i'm sure the 4th official will be fully armed with ear plugs!! :-) Plus, flak jacket, tin hat and an Amos to English dictionary. I've witnessed before the amount of animosity that he transfers, from the manager to the players. He just doesn't appear capable of controlling his temper for some reason. All the best to both Webby (I take it that's you Dave?) and Tom for the final. I hope it's a good one.

Having read all the comments about both managers on this thread I would say that the final could be just as entertaining off the pitch as on it!!!!
