At this stage we are aiming at 2nd to make any other arguments irrelevant and have no wish to comment further on the ifs, buts and maybes of who has been told what.
However, it would have been great to have been told that Eynesbury had not won last night and we could have relaxed in the knowledge that the job was done and 2nd was ours
Comment was based on the fact that in the past I have always enjoyed winning something on the pitch, rather than when not playing and hearing it through someone elses result.
