Not sticking up for our fans.....but some of those that you're saying were involved, I've hardly seen at Lynn games before.
And elkcahder do you condone a Buckby player throwing a bottle at a Lynn fan (and hitting them) causing some to come on the pitch?
Or the so called steward/official taking a flag from some young kinds?
Going back to the game - the better team won. I have no complaints there. Bucky turned up, most of our players didn't.

Too much controvesy seems to follow Kings Lynn FC. Thugs around at games last season & now todays pathetic excuse to act all hard & macho by storming onto the pitch with several fans attacking 11 Buckby players. Will the referee put this in his Match Report ?? If you want your club to earn respect from other teams, you should respect ours too. Yes, all the banter during games is part & parcel of football but some of the language, & in front of young children is just not on, even at this level. And as for storming onto the pitch.....this just proves one thing....today we have seen Kings Lynn FC are very, very sore losers. And why are you all moaning about the prices ?? If your club can charge £8 supporters to watch. then so should other's in the UCL !! It appears to me the Ridgeons League knew what they were talking about when they didn't want you to join their league if this the sort of behaviour & controversy that follows your club around. I just feel sorry for true, genuine Kings Lynn fans who have to put up with this nonsense week in week out.

I get sick of trying to stick up for Lynn "fans". Like I said some of those there today I haven't see at Lynn games before. 99% off the fans are great. We have banter. We support our club through think and thin. Just a shame we have a few idiots who spoil if for the rest of us.
I don't like being called a thug/inbred etc just because I follow my local team. I try to give credit where it's due and today we just didn't turn up.

No doubt pictures were taken of the king's Lynn thugs? In this day and age there is no excuse for having no pictures, can you please send the pictures to KLTFC and i'm sure they will do their best to ban the culprits? As has been said there were fans there that i haven't seen in nearly 40 years of watching Lynn play,if you can identify them i am sure that myself and other genuine Lynn fans will put names to faces if we can, then you take what action you wish.I for one didn't see it because i left by the end gate, picking my way through the banned beer glasses and strong smell of a substance not known as tobbaco! Shame one of the 30 paid stewards didn't pick them up on that when they came through the shiny new gate? Well that was the 'official' reason for putting the price up!

More importantly next week (21/04) Lynn host the resurgent Ar Tarn, perhaps needing a win to win the title, and of course Ar Tarn will nick it by two or three clear goals so........... ij

Evening Botty, sorry I couldn't make the game today.
Did I hear correctly, and you only had 10 men?

as a lynn i rearly post. At first, i didnt mind paying the £8 to get in for the top of the table clash until There was no extra turnstyle or stewards which was the reason the price went up, anyway, was there now. I travel on my own to away games. At the end of the game Lynn where beat, win some lose some and yes i was dissapointed but then the Buckby physio decided to spray his water bottle over the Lynn fans, 2-3 of the Buckby players ran towards the Lynn fans goading them and swearing at them, this was uncalled for. The lynn fans did not swarm the pitch, they walked across it to get out and these fans included family. I walked round the outside to go to the toilet before I left to travel home. While waiting for the loo in the long que, the 4 stewards that where attending the carpark and taking our £3 where looking for a fight, they stood a few feet away from me, then 1 decided to pick on one lynn fan who got the reaction they where looking for, a fight, the whole 4 buckby stewards then joined in until some other lynn fans came to our fans aid to which the buckby STEWARDS go behind a part of the ground where the Lynn fans couldnt get to. All our fans did was pull our 1 guy away and took him to the bus but yet the buckby stewards still wanted to carry on. With that i went to the toilet and left.

unfortunately anybody can don a hi vis bib and pretend to be a steward. must admit given the price increase i was expecting proper stewards to be brought in from another club. as has happened previously. were lynn stewards approached, seeing as they are properly trained and certified. but it seems it was just a money making exercise. fair enough make the most of it. but just be upfront about it. anyway back to the game. on the day the better team won.

As with 'stewards', anyone can wear a club's scarf, hat etc and pretend to be 'fans'. As mentioned earlier by Grissles and linnet1976, not all Linnet 'contingent' were recognisable as supporters.

Just reading all this, heard alot about lynn fans but no critics of Buckby fans or Buckby's behaviour on the pitch. There is a photo online of one Buckby player sticking his fingers into a lynn players eyes, is that fair? is this what club role models should be doing?? It may not be the premier league but they are still 'respected' by their fans. As for violence or stoning after the game, I can not comment as I didn't see anything off pitch

Were a few Buckby fans stoned David, and they allowed them alcohol in the ground, when they made Lynn fans drink theirs outside the shack! Oh sorry i mean new gate especially built to cope with the Lynn fans, you know, what the price hike paid for,oh and the 30 paid stewards that were on duty?

Hate to say this, and indeed it is no excuse for some of the behaviour, but ripping off fans is enough to put any crowd in a ugly mood. I would thought lessons should have been learn from the Deeping game! There are two shameful elements at play here greed and stupidity!

Just a shame we have a few idiots who spoil if for the rest of us. And can you tell us what steps are being taken to remove these idiots from your club?
