Mr Sad & angry get ya head out of ya...... and have a think about whats actually being said your rant does you no credit what so ever. When did i say that kind of singing is acceptable? Taking the few positves from your comments, it highlights 1. the need for independent & trained stewards and 2. police prescence. Which was the responsibility of the home team, that extra £2/3000 they took on the gate and parking was supposed to have been used to 'employ' 30 stewards! 30 trained stewards that never appeared!

Taking the few positves from your comments, it highlights 1. the need for independent & trained stewards and 2. police prescence. And, as I said, the cost of stewarding and, if necessary, policing is the responsibility of the team HOSTING the match not the away team. The many fans of better supported away teams would actually pay for the extra stewarding by bringing in additional revenue via the turnstile (or in Long Buckby's case the hastily erected hut with hatches), and refreshments, programmes, raffles etc. Where would you get additional independent stewards from? Clubs should be able to provide competent stewards (I do stress "competent") of their own. If a team cannot administrate a game of football properly then they should be the ones to "get out". When commenting on what happened at Long Buckby on Saturday I can only say that there were few positive aspects to comment on - the stewarding (nearly non-existent) was a farce, the car parking fee was a rip-off and so-called stewards are accused of starting a fight at the end.

A lot more could have been done to avoided all this unnecessary aggro, I'm afraid this has been all about making money instead of crowd safety which should been the primary goal for LB as a responsible club. All stewards should have been suitably, trained by competent person or organization, and be fit for purpose. Furthermore it is not KL's responsibility for crowd safety provision at an away venue, however, they are responsible for their safety and conduct of their fans and it is about time all clubs stood up to their responsibilities instead of blaming others for their failings! . Just another money fuelled disgrace that shames the game yet again ! but then again it will be just another big laugh to have at the bar about, won't it.......... until someone gets seriously hurt?

On a more positive note chaps, perhaps they will be able to afford to have their Floodlights repaired now. Hopefully the lessons will have been learned and when Kings Lynn visit there next season in the UCL, proper Stewards etc will be in place! We've employed about 60 Stewards for tomorrow night's game at Lincoln Road, as no doubt there will be 100's travel from Long Buckby for what will be a vital game for them in their quest for the Holy Grail!

So Grissles we all need to take cameras with telephoto zoom lenses and have them ready just in case Kings Lynn fans kick off.
Plenty of neutrals coming down to cheer on Buckby to the title Kevin i am sure there will be a healthy crew from Deeping in attendance.

I will not be able to make the match due to a prior engagement - going to King's Lynn Corn Exchange to see Derek Acorah the spiritulist medium chappie who used to be on Most Haunted.
I'll see if he can contact the other side to get a forecast on:
Who will win the league Will Long Buckby pass the Ground Inspection (Wednesday 18th)

So, I have read with interest, that the blame is being turned round towards the policing and stewards at the game. This is only needed when the infamous KL are involved. If the 'supporters' behaved themselves and just went for the football, then this wouldnt be an issue. Trouble follows the club around like a bad smell, and I dont think that will change. Very well spported, yes, but not a friendly bunch and this arguement will rumble on and on.

Of course the blame is on the stewards, the only trouble at Buckby was caused by so called stewards goading Lynn fans! No pitch invasion,no Lynn fans beating up the Buckby players,no Lynn fans attacking the ref,Lynn bench not throwing water over Buckby fans,no Lynn players taunting and inciting the Buckby fans, and finally no Lynn fans throwing stones at leaving Buckby fans cars! So had it not been for Buckby stewards/fans,no trouble would have been mentioned!

youtu.be/6bZR2iKc-soWatch the last few minutes, you will clearly see no threat from Lynn fans, but you will see their bench throwing water over Lynn fans, and the Buckby players taunting them!
