So, I have read with interest, that the blame is being turned round towards the policing and stewards at the game. This is only needed when the infamous KL are involved. If the 'supporters' behaved themselves and just went for the football, then this wouldnt be an issue. Trouble follows the club around like a bad smell, and I dont think that will change. Very well spported, yes, but not a friendly bunch and this arguement will rumble on and on. Just to be clear on this matter, there was NO police presence so no policing. There was supposed to be 30 stewards stewarding the match but there were hardly any stewards present and those that were there did not perform their stewarding role on the occasions that they should have - swearing by both team supporters bur mainly the chanting of "you're a load of w*****s" by the Buckby fans in the seating area and also their standing in a seating area. I am not saying that the Lynn fans were all saints but Buckby fans and team members were inciting trouble by their actions and their stewards (if that's what they could be described) caused some of the fighting. Were you there? I was and I only saw about 6 stewards that could be identified by wearing a dayglow jacket/vest.

Ive seen the videos Grissles, and all you can hear is the Lynn 'fans' abusing any Buckby player who comes near. The water from the bottle was thrown in the air as an act of celebration, and not over the handrail at the fans. Despite how it looks on camera. I think that everyone who reads threads on this site, are well aware of how the KL fans behave (well, most of them). And its funny how the filming stops just as the players are leaving, and the KL fans get increasinly abusive....but anyway, nowt to do with me anyway. Just looks like another case of sore losers to me.

Just to mention something, and yes I am a lynn fan but doesn't mean I always agree with lynn fans or their behaviour. I had two neutral mates come to the game because they fancied a day out and a good bit of sport to watch. I only got round to talking to them last night (and I add they have read nothing off any forum etc and like myself, don't live in KL and arn't orginally from there!) but as they were leaving through the 'gate' (cut out wood box!), one person who they THINK were part of the 'stewards' (as they had to pay the money to park so have seen these people) turned round to some of the lynn fans exiting in front of them and shouted 'I'm going to ******* stab you lot' or something along those lines. Without getting involved, they walked away but there was a group of about two or three trying to cause trouble alongside this person......
Is that behaviour acceptable? I'm sure someone will probably come along and say they were provoked or some crap like that but why would people, who are nothing to do with either club, make that up? I was a critic of both sets of fans when coalville visited lynn and also said at the time of the Neots game that if any lynn fans had caused trouble, then they are idiots and I would not support them in anyway, before someone says I'm protecting lynn fans.

Thats a pretty fair comment 'dw'. I wasnt there so im only having a view on what ive seen, heard and read. It seems certain that members from Buckby were clearly intent on stoking up abit of trouble, and we all know that KL dont need asking twice for that..!!

To be honest, I don't think anyone would accept someone saying something like that to them and walking straight towards them.
